how Truecaller works?
hello guys , my name is shashank and today I will tell you how the app truecaller actually works...
Some people thinks that there's a database of truecaller where all phone numbers are stored but think how government would allow a private company to let give him all the phone numbers of the citizens of the country.
Truecaller totally depends on us, that we the users.
Earlier truecaller was coming pre-installed in many devices so that it can take all contacts of your phone, and after taking the number, it assigns the same name of the owner of that number as it is saved in your phone.
And if the same is found in 4-5 other phone in which truecaller is installed, it will assign which it will found in majority of the phone.
Let's take an example-
jhon buys a new phone with a new sim card i.e., a new number. At this time truecaller doesn't have any detail of that phone number.
Now jhon gives this number to his friends and family members.
some people save it with the name jhon, some with his pet name like jn etc.
but majorty of people saved it with the name "jhon" in their phone, now some people were truecaller installed truecaller now has new entry in their database with the jhon's number and as majority of people were saving the number with name "jhon" so truecaller assigns this phone number's owner name as jhon.
